Six years have passed since Meir Banai's last studio album.  Six very busy years, filled with performances, a few new songs released in various formats, and most importantly, a reconnection with his Jewish religious roots.

 

As a representation of his newfound spiritual life, Meir Banai has released an album of songs with the lyrics all taken from classic Jewish sources, set to Banai's own brand new music.

 

Among the guests on this album are his cousin Ehud Banai, Yonatan Razel, and Amir Benayoun.
