The Wine
Recanati Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex full bodied wine with a deep ruby color. Its rich bouquet of black cherries, blueberries, and black plums -- suffused with the scents of black truffles, cigars, toasted walnuts, and cinnamon -- delineate this superb wine as a unique Mediterranean product. Complex, approachable, delicious now, this wine should age gracefully for the next decade.

Harvest
The winemaker and viticulturist check not only the sugar concentration but also tasting individual berries for assesment of "physiological ripeness"-- where the tannins have softened to the level that allows the pure berry fruit flavors to shine through.

Serving
Served at room temperature this is a wonderful accompaniment to grilled or roasted meat particularly game or venison.

Recanati's Reserve label wines are produced from the finest grapes received by the winery, those conducive to producing excellent wines.
