This is the taste of the Middle East! The classic unrefined ground sesame seed tehina. Just dilute it - it's really thick! Great as a dip for pita wedges, sandwich spread, or salad dressing.
Preparation: Mix an equal quantity of Tehina and water, stir to creamy consistency. All the spices and flavors are already added.
Tehina is made from tahini, a paste made from ground up sesame seeds. These seeds are rich in vitamins (E and B1, B2, B3, B5 and B15) and minerals ( phosphorus, lecithin, magnesium, potassium, calcium and copper and iron), and contain lots of healthy fats and amino acids as well as a large dose of protein.
