We are proud to present an exciting line of Artistic Judaica by Yair Emanuel.

This gorgeous matzah cover and Afikoman bag set will add the joy of stylish beauty to your Passover Seder!  Here we have a beautifully intricate pomegranate design, along with the words Pesach on the matzah cover and Afikoman on the Afikoman bag in Hebrew letters.  Designs in raw silk are appliquéd and attached with embroidery. The matzah cover has three pocket linings for ease of use during the Seder.

Combining ancient tradition with modern decorative elements into one seamless work of art, this set makes an amazing gift for yourself or someone special that will lend a true sense of freedom every time around.

A classic Jewish decorative motif, the pomegranate has been grown for thousands of years in the Mediterranean region, and is referenced throughout the Bible as one of the 7 species native to the Land of Israel. In addition, the pomegranate has some of the deepest and richest symbolism in Judaism as its many seeds symbolize the abundance of righteousness, prosperity and wisdom.

Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem.  Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio.  The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
