This gorgeous tallit features a motif of the symbols of the twelve tribes of Israel and an excerpt from the tallit blessing in Hebrew on the atara (yoke). On the tallit bag are the words Yachad Shivtei Yisrael (The Tribes of Israel are Together) in Hebrew.
The tallit is made of the highest quality silk. The various motifs, stripes, and backgrounds are hand-painted on the fabric with a brush. A selection of colors is available.
This tallit comes with a matching bag and kippa.
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio. The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
