We are proud to present an exciting line of Artistic Judaica by Yair Emanuel.
This gorgeous matzah cover and Afikoman bag set will add a touch of color and distinction to your Passover table! The matzah cover is designed with a circular Jerusalem motif surrounding the words Pesach on the matzah cover and Afikoman on the Afikoman bag in Hebrew letters. The motifs are outlined in gold or black and hand-painted on silk with unique colors using a brush, while the fabric undergoes a fixation process to make it color-fast. The matzah cover has three sections inside to separate the top and bottom matzahs from the middle matzah. This will be a treasured centerpiece in anyone's Passover home!
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio. The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk appliqué and painting on wood.
