Yair Emanuel Wall Hanging - Welcome (Hebrew) - Variety of Colors

This gorgeous wall hanging is so wonderful, your home will never be the same!  The design features a colorful motif with fish and pomegranates and with the words Bruchim HaBa'im (Welcome) in Hebrew.  The wall hanging designs in raw silk are appliqued and attached with embroidery.  The fringes are made from glass and metal beads.  The mounting rod is made from brass pipe with brass finials.  The hangings are mounted with two screws secured into the wall under the rod.

Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem.  Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio.  The principal techniques utilized encompass painting on silk, hand-embroidery, raw-silk applique and painting on wood.
