Why is this Passover differrent from all other Passovers? Because this year, you can have the most beautiful colorful seder plate you ever saw! The set features a cheerful colorful peacock and floral/wildlife motif reminiscent of Armenian ceramic. With six matching bowls. The design was hand-painted with a brush using acrylic colors and then lacquered. Vivid and harmonious colors characterize the hand-painted wood.
As this piece is covered with layers of lacquer, it is totally functional and waterproof and may be hand-washed.
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem.
