A time honored tradition at every Passover seder is to leave an extra cup of wine for Elijah the Prophet, who is believed to visit every Jewish home on this most special of nights.
The design of this cup of Elijah was hand-painted with a brush using acrylic colors and then lacquered. Vivid and harmonious colors characterize the hand-painted wood, which features a creative Western Wall of Jerusalem decorative motif, as well as Eliyahu in large Hebrew letters. Waterproof and may be hand-washed.
Please note: These cups do not hold the requisite 112ml (3.8fl.oz.) for Kiddush according to Jewish law.
