This publication accompanies the exhibition "Perfumes and Cosmetics in the Ancient World" at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. The exhibition is organized in six sections, and presents implements and accessories that were used for facial and hair care, body grooming, perfume production and marketing, as well as numerous perfume bottles which have been found in burials.
