Silver and Gold Plated

Size: 11cm x 14cm/4.3" x 5.5"

This unique Hamsa decoration is intricate and beautiful, and guaranteed to make a fabulous addition to your home! The central Hamsa is gold plated, and features a stunning rendition of Jerusalem's iconic buildings, a menorah, and an outstretched olive branch. The silver-plated Hamsa surrounding it has been ornately filled with trailing vines and leaves bearing grapes and pomegranates, in tribute to Israel's abundant produce. The outermost Hamsa features two small Hamsas with eyes in their palms, with two small doves at the base. Below them hangs a single crystal.

The Hamsa is an ancient Middle Eastern symbol for God's protection, and the eye represent salvation from the effects of the Evil Eye. Doves and olive branches are a symbol of peace and goodwill, and olives, grapes and pomegranates are all among the seven different species associated with the Land of Israel. With so much inherent meaning and metaphor, this stunning piece is sure to delight!

Based on Moshav Timorim in Central Israel, Yealat Chen is one of the biggest and most celebrated Judaica design houses is Israel. Shining metals and natural stone are combined with classic Jewish themes and extraordinarily beautiful designs to create exquisite pieces of Jewish art. These pieces will bring contemporary Israeli style and sophisticated elegance to any room!
