In the 1970s and 80s the London Boys Choir (sometimes known as the London School of Jewish Song an the London Jewish Boys Choir) was among the best known and best loved performers of Jewish music in the world. Under the musical direction and conduction of maestro Yigal Calek they brought their infectious exciting sound all over the world, even becoming one of the very first Jewish acts to perform in the Soviet Union in generations.
This album collects some of their classic recordings, being made available to the general public for the first time in years.
